Wildcats Lead the Way!

About Us

History of the Wildcat Battalion:

The program owes its existence to the efforts of Mr. Bob Patton, member of the Board of Trustees, who championed the establishment of a Junior ROTC Program in Plano Independent School District. The Wildcat Battalion first enrolled cadets in 1974 under the direction of Colonel Curtis Fish, the first Senior Army Instructor.

Reputation:

The Wildcat Battalion has a long, proud tradition of excellence.  We proudly wear the Honor Unit with Distinction "Gold Star" award on our uniforms, further showing the success of our cadets and instructors from the past, present, and hopefully the future.
